Who is Covered?

Your membership benefits cover you and others living in your household - even a dependent up to age 22 away at college - driving any vehicle owned, leased, or furnished to you/them with permission of the owner.

Roadside Assistance

Whether you're at home, or on the road, call us toll free and we'll dispatch assistance. The authorized auto service provider we send will come equipped to solve the most common breakdowns including:

  • Changing a flat tire using your spare
  • Jump-starting or boosting a battery
  • Delivering up to two gallons of gas You will be covered for up to $100 per occurrence - just sign the receipt and drive away.

Towing Service

If we can't fix the problem on the spot, we'll tow your vehicle to the nearest authorized Subaru dealer, or destination of your choice, up to $100 per occurrence. Among its many advantages, this unique service allows you to get your vehicle to a mechanic you trust or to a more convenient location.

Type of Vehicles Covered

Your membership was designed to cover all self-propelled, four wheel vehicles designed, licensed and used for private on-road transportation, with trucks limited to a carrying capacity of up to 2,000 pounds, subject to the membership guidelines within the Terms and Conditions section. Commercial vehicles are not eligible for coverage.

Emergency Lockout Service - for car or home

Being locked out of your car or home is not only annoying and inconvenient but also potentially dangerous. As a member, you are entitled to free lockout emergency service to get you back into either your car or your home. Our network includes over 10,000 locksmiths ensuring that we can quickly solve your problem. Simply sign for the service - up to $100 per occurrence. Please note: lock repairs or cost of making duplicate keys are not covered.

Reimbursement Privileges

When, because of unusual circumstances, you choose the option of obtaining emergency assistance through your own service provider, you must first call and receive an authorization number. For reimbursement (up to $100 per occurrence), send us your original itemized receipt, along with the authorization number, your name, address, membership number and description of service provided.*

Message Relay

When you call us for emergency services, you may want to let family or friends know what's going on or ask someone to meet you. You can request that we convey up to three urgent messages to anyone, anywhere in the United States, Puerto Rico or Canada.

Customized Trip Routing & Maps

Call Subaru Roadside Assistance Plus the next time you are planning a trip. We'll provide you with a FREE, detailed trip routing package, including an easy-to-read, computerized itinerary, and map. This service includes the following travel information for your trip:

  • Your destination stop(s) in the order you prefer, providing a scenic route for your driving pleasure, or the quickest and most convenient path
  • Which highways to use, including route numbers and type of highway (toll road, interstate, state highway, etc.)
  • The number of miles between junctions and destinations, and a running total of miles traveled
  • The number of miles to be traveled on each highway and within each state
  • Projected driving time between stops and total projected driving time

The Trip Routing System will automatically choose the quickest route between destinations if you do not request a scenic route.

Note: To obtain this service, complete the trip routing request card contained in your membership kit. Please allow 10 to 14 business days for delivery of this service.

Directions by Fax

For those occasions when time is more important than detail, we provide concise directions that can be faxed to home or office. Our members find this service especially helpful when they're traveling on business or on short notice. Just call us and we'll get clear, concise directions to you within 24 hours or less.

Roadside Connect

Our agents are trained to connect you to the police, fire, or emergency medical personnel while our agent stays on the line. We have the technology and processes required to link your call to the appropriate local public safety answering point out of thousands found across the United States.

Specially Encoded Key Tag

Lost keys are a nuisance, an expense and often a problem to replace. That's why we've developed a safe and effective way to help you get your keys back. Our special Computerized Lost Key Retrieval System is simple and effective.

Cross Country Perks

Bail Bond Service

If you are charged with a violation of any Motor Vehicle Law (except driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, or driving without a valid driver's license) and must furnish bail, we will reimburse the cost of the bail bond up to $200.

Legal Defense

As a member, you are entitled to be reimbursed for legal fees incurred in the defense of a motor vehicle violation - up to $1000 combined maximum for all charges arising from a single occurrence.†
